So apparently Will and Katee will be the top 2. I think Mark and Comfort will be out this week even though I did like Comfort and Twitch's second number a lot.

Does Comfort take Jessica's place all the way - as in, if Comfort gets voted off, that's the same as Jessica being voted off?

Tomorrow night sounds like it should be good as well!

P.S. (and not related) - I don't like Jello Pudding Pops as much as I remember liking them when I was younger. :(

NTF!

A man and his wife were giving each other the silent treatment. After a week of no talking, the man realized he would need his wife to wake him for an early morning fishing trip. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence, he wrote on a piece of paper, "please wake me up at 5am". The next morning the man arose, only to discover it was 9am and he'd missed his trip. Furious, he was about to go and find his wife when he noticed a piece of paper on his pillow. It read: It's 5am. Wake up!

I had to post this!

I'm Jewish - I don't know when Easter is anyway ;)

Anyway, I got it in an email even though a bit on the gross side:

And Jax, the Cadbury Caramel eggs are the best ones :)

Now that is a new description...hmmm.

I think my favorite part of this is how I am 10:02 - as in, it is completely random.
I do like pancakes though - waffles too! :)

Christmas Update

Because it is just some other day to me...actually it is Movie + Chinese Food day! :)

Up here for my annual Rhode Island visit with the fam...the trip has been good so far, but it is over tomorrow and then back to work Thursday and Friday after fighting to have Wednesday off of work.

I got to visit with my "vacation pets" Cal the greyhound and Avion the cockatiel. I hope my kitties aren't creating too much chaos in my apartment, although my brother has reported back all is well.

My one cousin and I dissented from the rest of the family on the movie choice. My uncle and my dad were insitent upon seeing "I Am Legend" (the Will Smith movie), my mom and my aunt weren't sure, and my other cousin and his girlfriend wanted to see "Charlie Wilson's War". My cousin and I kind of wanted to see Sweeney Todd and it was playing an hour earlier than the other two so we ended up going separately from everyone else!

In the end, it was a good choice because my uncle made everyone get to the movie theatre 1hr and 15 minutes before their movie started and they were all a bit upset. And they all ended up seeing Charlie Wilson's War, which was not really my top choice anyway.

So my cousin and I saw Sweeney Todd, which I liked a lot, although it was a bit gory (but that was expected so at least I was prepared). I thought Johnny Depp was really good - I didn't know he could sing that well and Snape was in it too. And the musical aspect kind of helped offset the gore a little bit somehow.

Chinese food for dinner and then round 2 of Taboo (re-match from the night before although the teams were slightly different). Sooo much fun! My uncle caused us all to have fits of laughter and my cousin and dad were crying along with me (since we all know that is not hard to get me to cry from laughing).

Now I have booked my Dayton flight and I am off to bed on my airbed that actually stayed inflated this year - woohoo!

Hope everyone had a great holiday! :)

Wow, not sure if that's ever happened...at least not recently.

So my mom and I went to the new cupcake store here (in Fairfax Shopping Center) called Cupcake Heaven. She went in looking for tea leaves ('cause they sell some kinds) but we were both looking at all the different "specialty" cupcakes and she offered to buy me one. So of course, I did not refuse, especially since they had a Boston Cream cupcake!

I just ate half (becasue I'm good like that) and it was sooo good! It actually had the custard in it (although not quite enough for my liking) AND there was caramel under the chocolate frosting!! Grxgrxgrxgrx....

So now I am tempted to try some of the others I saw, one being a caramel filled, and the other was a mint chocolate chip!! Too bad (or maybe it's good) they are $2 per cupcake!

And just for all those wondering (since I'm sure everyone is): Upon biting the cupcake, I promptly got chocolate icing all over my sweatshirt. Yay. I am, as they say in Latin, a "dorkus malorkus". <---haha, really I just wanted to say that, which makes it even more true :(

Update, last week and now...

I will attempt the bulleted list - I usually write too much for each topic for it to work quite right though!!

- The Cpex kids who showed up to the B/Cpex camp last Sunday did really well and TJ wrote some fierce twirls too!
- I got to wear jeans to work 3 times this week! (Make sure you read that in the "Micah" voice) :) 2 "department clean-up" days and 1 volunteer day for United Way (We painted a room in an Adult Care center).
- I went to Atlantic City to the casino and outlets yesterday. Got lots of new clothes and won a little over $50 in the slots! Although I had lost $25 prior to winning that...overall I was up about $30. That's 'cause they had the cross-bar cherry machines (Wifey will know what I'm talking about) :)
- I am starting to stiffen up from dance class today. Mostly my back and arm...maybe it's from rolling? Hmmm...
- Got 2 pumpkins from the pumpkin patch today and the field really wasn't muddy, surprisingly. I wish I had someone to go in the corn maze with though :(
- I got my Halloween costume pieces that I was missing today, except maybe a sash. I'm not sure if anayone else in my group is dressing up though, but it is fun so I want to and a few did last year.
- I wish they had DVDs from the 3 seasons of SYTYCD available.
- I turned on my heat tonight for the first time. I was doing some cleaning stuff and I suddenly started to get a little headache and feel kind of weird so I got paranoid about carbon monoxide so I turned it off and opened a window. I feel a little better now...but hopefully I was just being paranoid. I just had both kitties sleeping on my lap and they were keeping me nice and warm but they just heard some sort of bug clicking against the window and they got up to investigate.
- I have about a week left to FIO what I want to do about my HS 10-year reunion vs the Bucs Banquet.
-I also have to FIO what is happening with my yearly Rhode Island holiday trip...
-I got an iPod speaker finally after going back and forth between several different ones. The one I got is pretty small (aka very portable), and runs on 4 AA batteries and has an AC adapter!
- The end...

Apparently some people missed this message...

...Either because I hid it behind a cut or because I posted it on a Friday. Or both...or neither. In any case, by request, I am posting it again.

My newest roommates:

Bella

Oscar

They are currently having fun wreaking havoc in my apartment and like to wake me up 45 min. before my alarm goes off in the morning...

My LJ Ban is over!

So the past hmmm...2 weeks I guess?...I've had a self-imposed ban on LJ because I hadn't been home to watch the finale of SYTYCD and this was one of the places I knew I'd find out the winner before actually watching my tapes. Somehow I have managed to avoid anyone revealing the winner to me and I just finished my several nights viewing of all 4 hours of finale so now I can read LJ again!

I'm glad Sabra won - I probably could've saved myself a lot of trouble by just going with my assumption that she won but it was still fun to watch the final 2 episodes. But that is old news now for everyone else :(

Quick rest of update because I must get to bed:
- I absolutely can't believe Championships for Bucs is this weekend. Fastest season EVER.
- This past weekend: Hottest Saturday EVER.
- Strangest sighting...EVER - a horse running straight down the middle of Naamans Creek Rd this past Friday evening and it's owner several yards back chasing after it. Hmm...
- There really is something called "heat lightning", but it is not caused by the heat.
- Black ladybugs mean only bad things are coming.
- It sucks having a cold in the summer - thank goodness for Sudafed but too bad I forgot to take my last dose.
- I am queen of ice cream rationing.
- Go out and buy some Peanut Butter Chex Mix and Turtle Chex Mix. Both are awesome! ...or try the Chocolate/Caramel Chex 100 Cal Packs!!
- I think they are building an "indoor Rita's" on the corner of 202 and Naamans Creek Rd!
- I need to get a flat screen monitor - my neck can't take much more of this angle.
- I hope the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies I am going to be making turn out well!!

I know Nikki beat me to the punch on the Apex and Bpex videos, but here are an additional 2 from a different view - sorry they took so long. I had to have my brother compress them!

Also, Cpex from Chapters, courtesy of Jerrod. AND my brother was able to compress the one Brad took on Nick's camera from the homeshow!

Has anyone seen my pants?

Seriously...
I had them with my flagline shirt at Holy Spirit on Saturday. They are bright blue capris - kinda like sweatpants material. I know that my shirt has been found (which is the more important/less replaceable part) but I'd love to know if anyone happened to pick up the pants?

Ironically, I know of the location of 2 other people's pants...hmmm.

In other news...
- Today's name of the day is: Shirley Burley (the rhyming ones are my favorite!)
Address of the day: Humpty Dumpty Drive

- My uniform is laying on the arm of my couch...I smell the fabric softener through the garment bag every time I sit there or walk by.

- I wonder why they had to choose this week to being showing the "Wildwood Days" commercial? :(

That's what she said...

Even though I must admit to being a bit over the "that's what she said" after everything said at Apex lately (or so it seems) I had to share this because I knew you'd all enjoy.

On NBC10 just now on the news they were doing a story about real-life Scranton and what they think of "The Office".

They were saying something like
"No matter what people in Scranton think about the show, it has definitely gotten huge"

Edit to clip of Michael "That's what she said!"

- That Passover ended just a week ago (seems like much longer).
But I ate my leftover "post-Passover dinner" tonight and it was just as good! :)

- A week ago at this exact time I was packing to go to Dayton and that less than a week ago I was IN Dayton.

- There are only 2 Apex practices left and Cpex's last real practice is next Thursday!

- Bucs starts up again in like 3 weeks.

- It will be 70 degrees this Sunday - I hope the warm sticks around this time!

- Heroes is back in 6 days! I wonder if the previews are true, that Peter is dead/will die? He sure looked alive when we saw him in Vegas ;)

Ha...

I found this waiting for me in my email this morning:

Why you never question a drunk. .

I was shopping at the local supermarket where I selected:
A half-gallon of 2% milk,
A carton of eggs,
A quart of orange juice,
A headn of romaine lettuce,
A 2 lb. can of coffee, and
A 1 lb. package of bacon.

As I was unloading my items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk
standing behind me watched as I placed the items in front of the
cashier.

While the cashier was ringing up the purchases, the drunk calmly stated,
"You must be single."

I was a bit startled by this proclamation, but I was intrigued by the
derelict's intuition, since I was indeed single. I looked at the six
items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual about my
selections that could have tipped off the drunk to my marital status.
Curiosity getting the better of me, I said: "Well, you know what, you're
absolutely right.
But how on
earth did you know that?"

The drunk replied, "Cause you're ugly."

Here is the video of Bpex from the Homeshow. I had to knock the quality down a bit so the file would be small enough... Hopefully I can get a better one soon, but for now, enjoy :)

So if anyone watches Heroes...I am confused...because didn't Dr. Suresh already meet Sylar? Like, shouldn't he have recognized him as not really being the new guy who liquefies stuff? I don't remember his memory being erased, but maybe I'm missing something...?

This weekend was long but good - a great first show for Cpex!

My legs felt like jelly after run-through #2 Sunday, but I'm still glad we did it. Actually, I'm lying - they felt like jelly like all the way through run-through 2, not just after...but still glad we did it :) And it was nice to start off the day being in a warm gym - thanks Billy!

That is all - I am really hoping for a snow day Wed...but...stupid rain :P

Fortune cookies

Since I saw two entries that said something in them about what people recently got in their fortune cookies, I wanted to share my most recent fortune that I got. I don't know where this restaurant gets their cookies from, but I think I've gotten at least one other that was kind of similar one to this that was closer to an advertisement than a fortune. I think they should change fortune cookie providers:

"Cookies go stale, fortunes last forever"

I like Steve's one about mumbling though!

Yay online deals!

Since I'm all you've been dying to know, I just wanted to share that I've decided to go with the "Chocolate Mint" plates! (It tied for first in my poll as well, and the one it tied with was my first pick for a while actually, the one with the "primary color" lines). For some reason they were a really good price on Amazon, too, so Apex made some money off my plates as a bonus! AND I ordered a toaster oven at the same time as well! AND for some reason I got a $5 off promotion for something in addition to free shipping that I'm not sure where it came from but I won't argue!

Ok...off to bed.
Oh...anyone doing anything fun for New Years? I think it would be fun to go to Hibachi...but I'd be up for other stuff too if anyone has thoughts :)
